The Museum Quarter is home to the three most famous museums in the city. The Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk museum and the Van Gogh Museum are all situated on this square. Besides that you can find the beautiful Concertgebouw and some amazing restaurants in this area. Pose with the giant IAmsterdam sign or sit in the grass on a sunny day. The luxurious shopping street, the P.C. Hooftstraat, is in walking distance and houses many of the world’s most famous fashion and luxury brands. A Day Around the Museum Quarter in Amsterdam

Start with a stroll through the beautiful Vondelpark, it is only a short walk from the square. The famous park is frequented by locals and tourists year-round to relax, exercise, walk and eat. And as soon as the first sun rays hit the city in spring or summer, locals flock to the park to enjoy the sun with a BBQ, picknick or with a good bottle of wine. Don´t forget to bring something to sit on, relaxing in this park is mostly done in the grass! Besides that the Vondelpark has anopen air theater that is mostly used in summer and you can go to the Blauwe Theehuis or Vondelpark3 for a drink and a quick bite. After that you can visit the high end shopping street, the P.C. Hooftstraat, and end your day in one (or all!) of the three big museums at the square.
