Some events in the city are only this week or have their closing date in the near future. No worries though, we´ve got you covered. These are the events you shouldn´t miss this week.
- The 21st of June marks the start of Public Art Amsterdam 2018. This is an initiative of 11 renowned art institutions that come together to share art in the public spaces of Amsterdam. This year’s theme is Pay Attention Please! During this manifestation various artists give their own take on the neigborhoods of Amsterdam. All have their own stories and personality that shines trhough in the art.
- From the 17th of June until the 4th of November “The Most Beautiful City”, an exposition on Amsterdam through the eyes of the late mayor Eberhard van der Laan, is on display in the Amsterdam Museum. The mayor himself worked on this exposition until right before his death, proving his unconditional love for the city.
- We’ve written about the best Rooftop Bars in Amsterdam before. Today we are expanding on this topic with the Rooftop Festival Amsterdam 2018! On Friday the 22nd of June the biggest Friday afternoon drinks of the city is organized on the various rooftop bars in the city.
