A new exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum

Metahaven: Earth is the first ever overview of works by Metahaven presented by the Stedelijk Museum. Vinca Kruk and Daniel van der Velden are internationally known as Metahaven, a design studio based in Amsterdam. With their work they break boundaries between art, design and film.

Next to the biggest collection overview in the genres of visual art and design, their new film installation Eurasia (Questions on Happiness) will be shown. Eurasia combines animation and documentary with science fiction, poetry and folk tale.

Four of the galleries at the Stedelijk museum will be filled with the large-scale works that Metahaven has been creating since 2015. All of which have never been shown before in the Netherlands. The last gallery revolves around Metahaven’s other works like music videos, textile and print.
