Acid Flowers is the impressive second solo-exhibition by Louise te Poele. This Dutch photographer has a show in Torch Gallery until the 3rd of March.
Acid Flowers, a new direction for Louise
During the Acid Flowers exhibition Louise will introduce a new body of work with an impressive gallery-filling installation. Here previous work was inspires by the 17th century, but her new work drifts away from what we know. Thing futuristic flower arrangements, neon lights and wonderous compositions. Besides this newer work you will also find art from her Farmer series, where se portrayed farmers of the Achterhoek region in the Netherlands. These portraits are best described as raw and intriguing.
About the artist
Louise te Poele (1984) lives and works in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Here, she graduated from Artez academy in 2008. Her works has been exhibited worldwide ever since in places like Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Berlin and Istanbul. Her work is part of the collections of the Dutch Embassy in Japan, the French state and Museum Arnhem.
