A night out in Amsterdam

Nightlife in Amsterdam can be a bit overwhelming. Therefore we’ve described our perfect night out in the city.

A night out in Amsterdam with picking a good restaurant, we would recommend taking a restaurant in the city center, almost everything will be in walking distance then, making your night out a lot easier! After a good dinner you will start with cocktails, at Mr. Porter you have the best view in the city. After cocktails stake a short stroll to Jazz Café Alto or Bourbonstreet to enjoy some live music. Jazz not your cup of tea? No problem the Hard Rock Café or Rock Club The Cave are right around the corner. Listen to some tunes until you are all warmed up for dancing, Leidseplein is full of clubs you can visit. The most famous in the area are The Jimmy Woo, The Chicago Social Club, Club Up and NOVA. More in the mood for a laid-back beer? With many bars in the area you can step into any to enjoy a beer and chat with some friends.

Do you prefer Rembrandtplein? No problem, there are some famous clubs there as well. Escape is the most famous one but AIR, Disco Dolly and NJOY are pretty famous in the local nightlife as well. More in the mood for some Dutch “gezelligheid”? At Jantjes Verjaardag the atmosphere is just that!

Special Nightlife in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is also famous for its LGBTQ+ safe clubs. Now you can go to any club in Amsterdam but the ones in the Reguliersdwarsstraat, that runs from Rembrandtplein to Koningsplein, is especially catered to the LGBTQ+ audience.

If all the clubs around Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein close it is time to go home. If you really aren’t ready to go yet you can head over to The School in Amsterdam west. On Friday and Saturday this club is opened until 07:00 AM. Nightlife in Amsterdam is world-famous, whatever you decide to do we hope you will enjoy yourself!
