Our favorite coffee bars in Amsterdam
As said before, there are many coffee bars in Amsterdam. Thus, picking just one as our absolute favorite is just too hard. Because we don’t want to leave you empty handed, these are a couple of our favorite coffee bars. De Koffiesalon has a couple of bars throughout the city and is a true hot-spot for locals and tourist. This coffee lounge uses its own high-quality coffee bean selection to prepare one of the best cups of coffee in Amsterdam. De Wasserette (The Laundromat) serves a particularly young crowd in a trendy atmosphere. It is a must-go for people staying in De Pijp. The coffee bar is laid back, perfect for a slower start of the morning or a (short) coffee meet-up with friends. At Al Ponte you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, paired with Italian pastries whilst looking over ‘t IJ. To reach this coffee shop you’ll have to take the ferry, therefore it is the perfect start of your exploration of the northern part of town.
We hope that finding acoffee bar in Amsterdam is a bit easier for you now. Or, because you can never have enough coffee, you can just try them all!
